BIO-NET® consists of grid tubes welded together, thus formung sturdy, stable block. They are predominantly used as support material for biological wastewater treatment and can withstand considerable static loads. Applications are trickling filter, rotating biological contactors and submerged fixed-bed systems.
Main features:
- the grid structure that allows three-dimensional flow provides uniform wastewater distribution and optimal oxygen supply to the biomass
- the vertical structure of the material simplifies the discharge of excess sludge
- made of polyethylene with additives to ensure UV resistance
- available in various specific surface (100 m2/m3, 150 m2/m3 and 200 m2/m3).
