The simple basic line of thought is to generate added value from existing systems. Providing terrestrial services to areas not covered or only covered by cable systems to a limited extent is an expensive and demanding undertaking. NSW OPGWs exhibit the following major features:
- A variable number of fibers according to customer specification (up to 100)
- A single, double or multi-layer sheath depending on the demands of the application
- Longitudinal fiber reinforcements provide protection during handling and guarantee optimal performance over the entire period of service.
If a new cable network is unnecessary, ADSS cables present a cost-effective alternative for optimizing the capacity of voice and data transmissions over the existing network.
